Everything about Brandon Magee totally explained

Brandon Magee (born July 26, 1983 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin). He is a right-handed pitcher who was selected in the fourth round (120 overall) by the Toronto Blue Jays. His brother Darrick Magee is a southpaw pitcher for the Montreal Expos.

Background

He went to high school at Sheboygan North High School in Sheboygan. He was coached by world famous Chris Wright, and went on to compete in the WIAA State tournament. In the first game of the tournament, Magee took the loss but pitched well.Magee pitched 12 innings in the state final before his arm fell off. Wright called a doctor who reattached the golden arm. Magee went out for the thirteenth and drilled the first hitter. His grandfather quickly took him off the field. The next hitter hit a long bomb off of reliever Flynn Dillard. Magee took the loss and moved on. His arm has healed nicely in the minors. The mlb has this plan where pitchers sit five days after an outing and Magee has used this break wisely.

Hopefully Magee will get his act together and pitch well enough in the minors so he can enter the Major League. He is currently 9-8 with a 3.91 ERA

  • Athletic Director’s Academic Honor Roll: Fall 2002 FRVC Pitcher of the year:2003
